-On December 15th 2004, the Anthony Telesca Memorial Foundation, in conjunction with State Farm Insurance Companies, has presented a $3,000 grant to the Lenape Regional High School District for use in the Driver Education Programs.
-The Foundation held its 2nd Annual Golf Outing Fundraiser on September 28, 2004, at Little Mill Country Club in Marlton, NJ. The event was altered by inclement weather generated by hurricane Jeanne, but sponsors and golfers kept their commitments, and The Foundation exceeded its goal of raising $10,000 to help promote teenage driver safety awareness in Anthony Telesca’s name.
-Anthony Telesca Foundation takes root in Florida and granted its first two scholarships in Florida on May 14th 2004. The scholarships were presented to Julie Disparte and Hillarie Reinders, both of East Lake High School.
-December 15, 2004: The Anthony Telesca Memorial Foundation, in conjunction with State Farm Insurance Companies, has presented a $3,000 grant to the Lenape Regional High School District for use in the Driver Education Programs.Part of the presentation team included Agent Claude Blum, of State Farm, who upgraded the initial Telesca Foundation grant of $1,500 with a matching contribution of $1,500. In addition to Dr. Hicks, representatives from Cherokee, Lenape, Seneca and Shawnee High Schools were on hand for the ceremonies. The grant money is to be distributed equally to the four schools and will be budgeted for teaching materials in the respective Teen Driver Education Programs.
