-On September 22, 2003, The First Annual Anthony Telesca Foundation Golf Outing was held at Medford Village Country Club. Fifty-Two golfers participated in a wonderful day of golf, followed by a delicious dinner at the Medford Village Banquet Room. With the help of many generous sponsors, including Commerce Bank, Visionline Media, South Jersey Driving School, and many others. The event raised several thousand dollars for The Foundation.

-Annual scholarships granted to college bound high school seniors from Shawnee, Cherokee, Lenape, and Burlington County Institute of Technology

-Held a fund raising activity by sponsoring a student volleyball tournament, March 1, 2003, at Shawnee High School supported by their local SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions) groups.

-The Foundation’s major event “Teenage Driver Safety Awareness Day” was held on January 7, 2003, in the Lenape Regional School District. A special assembly was held at each high school for junior and senior students and a “Keys to Safe Wheels” presentation and video was presented by State Farm Insurance.

-The Medford Ice Rink has contributed to the Foundation by donating donating $1 for every paid admission to their public skating sessions for two weekends during December 2002 and January 2003.

-Burlington County Institute of Technology Seneca High School will be granted annual scholarships starting in 2003 and Seneca High School will be granted annual scholarships starting in 2004. Recipients of Foundation scholarships are required to attend a “defensive driving” course, at no cost, through the generosity of the South Jersey Driving School.
